What does AFCA do?

Association For Christians in Action (AFCA) is part of an international network of Christians who passionately share the Love of Jesus by loving our neighbors. Our love is manifested in life-changing encounters and programs that minister to the individual physical and financial needs of people. Our current focus is in Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), West Africa. About a quarter of the population of Côte d'Ivoire live below the international poverty line of $1.25 USD a day. It is critical that AFCA make an impact for Christ in the villages and communes of Côte d'Ivoire in order to bring them out of the bondage of poverty.

The AFCA is developing a network of Christians around the world who are committed to help in our efforts to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people in Côte d'Ivoire. Nearly 100 local Christians including: pastors, missionaries, and lay people are stepping up to the challenge. The Bible says in Matthew 4:4 that, "...Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." AFCA takes these words to heart in fulfilling both the physical and spiritual needs of people.

Please pray for us. The mission and vision of the Association For Christians in Action (AFCA) is very deep and wide. We are praying that God reach all countries of Africa through our evangelism, church plants, missionaries, and helps ministries. Currently, we are managing this organization on a shoestring. We are in prayer to meet our needs at every level.

Executive Director, Africa, Brother Luc and his wife Yvette Koue are motivated and working with volunteers in their church community to organize and coordinate programs in French-speaking Abidjan, Ivory Coast, West Africa. At the same time, Executive Director, America, Sister Vivian Aldana is working with volunteers in the United States of America contacting churches, ministries, and individuals to garner support by putting together mission teams, collecting donations , and shipping materials to the Ivory Coast. With the help of Jesus Christ we will succeed.
